The city centre is only a 20-minute level walk along the upper Bristol Road, or alternatively a route through Royal Victoria Park is very enjoyable, the 56 acres of parkland are a mere 10 minutes away. There is an excellent selection of shops nearby on either Chelsea Road or Upper Bristol Road, including a large Tesco Express (5-minute walk). Nearby schools include Newbridge Primary and Oldfield Academy, as well as King Edward's Pre-prep and Royal High Junior School. There are very good travel links to Bristol via the A4, the M4 at junction 18 is a 25-minute drive north of Bath, and Oldfield Park train station is a 10-minute walk away across Windsor Bridge.
