Edgecombe News was build in the late 1980s on the site of an old brewery, and was constructed using reclaimed stone from the brewery. Kiln Cottage was bought by the current owners in 2011 and has been extensively refurbished by them. Improvements included a quality fitted Kitchen with glass splash backs above all units. Solid Oak hardwood flooring to the lounge, dining room and hall. Matching oak effect ceramic tiles to the kitchen and utility room which was completely refurbished this year. They also fitted a new bathroom and utility room and replaced sealed double glazing units. The south facing rear garden in Edgecombe Mews is easily maintained with some tropical plants, and many beautiful rose bushes that turn the garden into a sea of colour in the summer months. The very large paved patio provides excellent entertaining space and the roll away sun canopy provides relief from the sun when required.

Edgecombe Mews is a hidden gem in the suburbs of Bath in an area locally known as Weston Village. The five individually designed Mews Houses sit in their own little private cobbled courtyard that provides privacy and calm. Easily missed as they sit almost hidden from the many family homes around. Yet they are only minutes from all local amenities. There is also proximity to Royal United Hospital. Stroll through the grounds of an old church almost neighbouring the properties, parts of which date back to the 14th Century. From there stroll the short level walk along the impressive treelined streets full of impressive homes to the stunning Victoria Park. Here you will find botanic gardens, duck ponds, children's play areas, and tennis courts and continue through there  to the City Centre. Alternatively stay on the road and walk to the Centre via Bath's truly stunning Royal Crescent.
